Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Tickback ("the Service"), provided by Tickback Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16727735), registered office 12 Ford Close, Ferndown, Dorset, BH22 8AA. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of a household or organisation, you confirm you're authorised to do so.
3. Your account
- Keep your login details confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
- Tell us promptly at support@tickback.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, don't:
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or post unlawful, abusive or harmful content;
- attempt to access data or accounts that aren't yours, or probe, scan or disrupt the Service;
- upload malicious code, or use the Service to spam or harass others;
- resell or commercially exploit the Service except as we expressly permit.
5. Your content and our intellectual property
You keep ownership of the projects, tasks and comments you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, display and process Your Content solely to operate the Service — including showing it to the other members of projects you share. You're responsible for Your Content and for having the right to share it.
The Tickback name, logo, software and design remain our property. These terms don't grant you any rights in them, other than to use the Service as intended.
6. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but provide it "as is" and "as available". It may change, and features may be added or removed. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
7. Plans and payment
Tickback offers a free plan and an optional paid "Pro" plan at £4.99 per month or £49.99 per year, which raises the limits (unlimited projects, up to 15 people each), and a "Business" plan at £19.99 per supervisor per month — billed only for those users who confirm work, with no limit on the number of other people in a project — which removes the limits and adds compliance record-keeping. The free plan remains available, and being a member of a project someone else owns is always free.
Billing. Pro and Business are auto-renewing subscriptions. Business is billed per supervisor seat and is available on the web only. If you subscribe on the web, payment is processed by Stripe and charged to your card. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, payment is charged to your Apple ID and billed by Apple.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for a further month, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We'll give reasonable notice of any price change.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. On the web, cancel from your account ("Manage subscription"). If you subscribed through the App Store, manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings — we can't cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf.
Trials and promotions. We may offer a promotional free first month or discount codes; the standard price applies after any promotional period unless you cancel.
Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund process. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). The Service is a productivity tool and is not a substitute for professional, legal or compliance advice.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
